Here is what we need from you to become part of the Straight Up Mechanical Team:

• 3rd Year Apprentice: You’ve got 2–3 years of hands-on plumbing experience under
your belt and have successfully completed your Level 2 Plumbing Technical
Training. You’re confident in your skills and eager to keep learning.
• 4th Year Apprentice: You bring 3–4 years of plumbing experience and have
completed your Level 3 Plumbing Technical Training. You’re ready to step up, take
on more responsibility, and contribute to a high-performing team.
• Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or plumbing fixtures and systems
• Experience in Drain Cleaning
• Exceptional customer service
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients and office staff
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of the BC Plumbing Codes and Standards
• Must be comfortable working with mobile devices and apps
• BC Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record (required)
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check (required)
• On Call schedule for emergency service work (once every 3 weeks, on average)
